Shoes are not meant to torture, but they are not meant to be ugly either. The wonderful people at NAOT are a testament to this practice. They have successfully made a shoe that is attractive enough to wear on the NYFW runways, yet comfortable enough for a day of shopping. No one could have pictured that shoes made in a kibbutz in Israel fifty years ago, could take the world by storm. Today NAOT shoes travel the world giving comfort and style. The heel is specially constructed to alleviate pain and give support . That is why I say that these are the perfect shoes for travel. They can be strapped on before you get to the airport, stroll the terminal in comfort, and you can actually leave them on while in the air. You may get tired , but these shoes will not give out.
Recently, I gave them the ultimate test. Every year, there is a trade show with snacks and sweets. It involves three days of walking on concrete , carrying large bags of candy and snacks, and riding on a crowded bus . Even though it is fun, it is still exhausting. My NAOT sandals proved to be comfortable and stylish. I usually have to wear flats because of my height and that either means shoes that pinch or are ugly. Jen’s NAOT flats were a pleasure to wear and they didn’t allow my slacks to drag on the ground.
As you can see, the shoes can basically be worn with anything. They give that classic look for events , as well as casual with shorts. They are the perfect summer shoes.
