Dinosaur Bar B Que Celebrates Year One

one year sign

Today ,  we were invited to Dino Q Bar B Que Chicago to help them celebrate their one year anniversary. The NY based business came to Weed Street about a year ago and brought its special barbeque magic to the Windy City. Their brisket is definitely something to rave about and so are their cocktails.

There was definitely plenty of food and drink for guests to enjoy. The cole slaw was savory and all of their sauces are homemade. The meat was tender and juicy.  Jen couldn’t stop raving about the macaroni and cheese

The cocktails were definitely something to rave about as well. Fresh fruit and freshly squeezed lemonade made for some tasty drinks

austin palmer

My personal fave was called the Austin Palmer. Since I am addicted to Snapple Half Lemonade and Half Tea , I loved the fresh lemonade and ice tea flavored vodka

house music

Great food deserved great house music. This young lady provided some awesome nineties tunes for the party

Save room for dessert . Instead of cupcakes, Dino BBQ provided some of their own classic treats. The Key Lime Pie reminded me of Florida and there are no words for their decadent chocolate pies
