Neutrogena Lets You “Capitol-ize” on Beauty

kerry for neutrogena

I have a confession to make and that is I am one of these terrible people who buy products because of the celebrity endorsers. I snuck wine coolers after seeing Bruce Willis sing about them on television. I only learned to like coffee because of shows like “Frasier” and “Friends. When I heard that my favorite actress was endorsing Neutrogena cosmetics, I decided I had to use the same make up as Olivia Pope uses. After all, it got her a hunk like Fitz. . It doesn’t hurt that Kerry is one of the most beautiful women around.

So the nice people at Neutrogena sent me some of their new make up line. Kerry has been very instrumental in helping to design make up for women of darker skin. This has been a market that has long been ignored and only brought into the fold because people are realizing that women like Kerry, Viola Davis, and Taraji P Henson encapsulate beauty. I was quite excited to see they gave me an assortment of products  including my pale , WASPy, foundation. . I have had quite a history when it comes to my skin and my search for the perfect foundation. Usually I buy department store foundation that costs anywhere from 20 to 40 dollars. Neutrogena is usually about twelve dollars. Neutrogena also does not test on animals and that is important to me.

What I love about Healthy Skin is I can use it when I don’t feel like putting on a lot of make up.  These include trips to the store or the gym. The Healthy skin does a great job of covering as well as nourishing the skin with vitamins and minerals. It is a treat for your skin . The best part is that it doesn’t break me out and there is a perfect match for my skin.

Going to events, I have to always look good. As an actress, it is even more important to have that Red Carpet look. I may not be in the same category (yet) as Kerry , but I pride myself on not looking my age and also having clear and healthy skin. The Healthy Skin foundation spreads easy and gives great coverage. It looks great in photographs and gives that natural look.

Lastly, I got a chance to try the MoistureSmooth color stick. In this Chicago weather, I have to say this is the first lip color that did not dry my lips. Wind and cold chaps the lips and makes them crack. The colors are gorgeous as well. The Pink Grapefruit works for that casual look and the Classic Red is great for when I dress up. It looks elegant.

For being a lower price cosmetic line, I think that the Neutrogena line is the best for the quality and the money. It also gives you that confident look. Best of all you can find it almost anywhere.

You too can have that confident look and when you look good , you feel good.

And then you feel like you could rule the world…
