It is always fun to see your favorite tv characters from way back. Doesn’t everyone love to watch reruns of old shows and then flash forward in the actors career. Well we at chitownstarconnections love to do just that. So in time for fall and all those great cable shows we love like Franklin and Bash, Drop Dead Diva, Dallas , and the new entry Major Crimes, take a look back at some of your favorite and future favorite stars.

Here is John Slattery from Mad Men as the candidate on Sex and the City who dated Carrie and liked golden showers.  Needless to say Carrie dumped him and also blew the whistle on his bathroom exploits.

But here she is entertaining Charlie Harper as his sister in law, Kimber on Two and Half Men.

Elisabeth Moss is the ball breaking Peggy Olson on Mad Men. A woman who is a fighter in the man’s world of advertising

Here she is as President Bartlett’s daughter Zoey on The West Wing  with Dule Hill

David Eigenberg lit Miranda’s sparks as Steve on Sex and the City

 This fall, he helps put out the fire on Chicago Fire .

Jesse Metcalfe sure heated things up as the gardener on Desperate Housewives

Now he is the good and loving son to Bobby on TNT’s Dallas. He helps Bobby keep the peace at Southfork.

Here is Brenda Strong with her fellow Desperate Housewives co stars Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross , and Terri Hatcher

Now she is Annie Ewing , Bobby’s third wife , and mistress of Southfork on “Dallas”

This isnt the first time that Sullivan and Son’s Dan Lauria played a dad. Here he is as Jack Arnold with his family on the classic The Wonder Years.

Here he is happily tending bar on TBS on Sullivan and Son.

Anne Heche returns to television this fall in Save Me on NBC

But here she is as a young teen on the late great Another World with soap treasure Douglass Watson as Vicky/Marley .

GW Bailey and Mary McDowell try to work together on the TNT spinoff of The Closer .

Here heis as Harris in the hilarious Police Academy movies.

Here”s  Mary  as a visiting surgeon to Seattle Grace following the departure of Burke. Sandra Oh was her student as Christina Yang.  She also appeared with Elliot Gould and George Clooney on the original comedy ER.

Breckin Meyer played stoner Travis in cult hit Clueless

Here he is trying to grow up and failing miserably on Franklin and Bash

Jane Krakowski was one of the girls on Ally McBeal . Here she is with Lucy Liu and the future Mrs DeGeneres , Portia DiRossi

Now she is the hilarious and dingy Jenna on 30 Rock which sadly leaves the air this year
