TV Ends Season with a Bang!

May has traditionally meant the end of the television year. This is when the writers and creators churn out plots that make the viewers want to return in the fall to find out what happened.  It can also mean the end of a long running series . This year three shows have that honor, “CSI Miami, ” “House’ and “Desperate Housewives.”  Here is my take on the endings of my favorite shows.

“Glee”  With a bittersweet ending, Rachel gets her dream. But at what cost? Finn has decided to go to the Army and that meant breaking up with his dream girl.  Curt ‘s dreams were crushed since he wasn’t accepted in New York.  The gang has graduated and Mr. Shu continues to inspire his Gleeks.

“Hawaii Five O” McGarrett finds out that his mother is alive.  Chen has to make an impossible decision, his wife or his cousin. But you have to wait till fall even though Kono was seen drowning in the sea. Dano finds out that his ex wife is taking his daughter and decides to sue for custody.

“The Big Bang Theory” Howard and Bernadette had planned a beautiful wedding, but Howard has to blast off literally into space.  So the friends decide to have a quickie wedding where they all officiate.

“Private Practice”  Amelia has her “unicorn” baby. and lets the child be used to help other babies.  Addison faces a choice , Sam or Jake. Mason makes Charlotte feel good when he tells her he will call her “Mama” since that is what she called her mother.

“Grey’s Anatomy”  Since most of the doctors were on a jet, it crashed leaving the best of SGH Mercy West lives in jeopardy. Lexie or Little Grey was the lone fatality , but others that were injured include McDreamy and McSteamy.  Is Owen and Christina over and will the great Dr Shepherd ever recover to do surgery?  How will Meredith deal with the death of her sister? It’s going to be a long summer.

“Cougar town”  Jules and Grayson have finally tied the knot. It was a beautiful , but illegal wedding on the beach. With the whole cul de sac crew in attendance. Travis and Laurie have appeared to have found each other but will Jules accept it? Find out when Cougar Town moves over to TBS next fall.

“SMASH” “Bombshell” has gone up and Karen is a star. But at what cost? Dev proposed to her and she couldn’t give an answer. He gets drunk and ends up in bed with Ivy. Ivy can’t stand the fact that she isn’t Marilyn so we see her taking pills. Has she copied her heroine a little too much?

“30 Rock” Jack Donaughy has waited for over a year for his wife to be released. She comes back and he finds out that she has been with the anchor over there. Then she finds out he has been with her mother. This results in a roof top divorce ceremony.

“Two and a Half Men” Jake has proven to be a failure time and time again.  He and his buddy were given a job by Walden and his partner, which they blew up the computer center when they downloaded too much porn. So off to the Army they went.

“The Simpsons”  Lisa is feeling low, so it’s Lady Gaga to the rescue with her rainbow train and all her little “monsters”  Gaga captures the hearts of every one in Springfield.

“Family Guy”  Peter has gotten into a death match once again with the Giant Chicken.

and we bid a fond farewell to

CSI Miami

and Desperate Housewives
